I'd like to hear some opinions on these 2 reticles. Currently running the MK5 with the PR2 and I do love it don't get me wrong but I have recently got a couple scopes from Leupold that look like they have slipped past some QC checks as the whole reticle is clocked CCW and it is making me wonder if the switch is gonna be worth it. I have only looked through the ZCOs and not shot with them but hopefully someone on here that has can chime in on this?

I have both. The Leupold glass is brighter and resolves mirage pretty good. I like the PR2 reticle.

The ZCO glass is excellent and performs well in mirage. I personally like the 3x reticle with the mil circles.

I have been thinking of just running both. I'm very new to PRS and shoot a off the shelf Aero Solus in 6.5CM with the MK5 on top. I have contemplated on building a whole new 6 dasher rig that I would throw the ZCO on.

A custom built rem700 clone in a dasher will get you more impacts with any optic on it.
They do make dasher pre fits for the solus action... I'm only at 1300 rounds on the 6.5 barrel. but have no problem with swapping the barrel early over to a dasher setup. might go that road and see how it goes.

I have both.......if money is not a concern, I'd go ZCO.......I have only one scope with the 2x, as I also prefer the 3x.

That being said, I have no issues with the Mk5. I bought it because the Mil discount made it a cheaper option, but it works fine. It's really only if you like the small dot on the ZCO, vs the open hash on the MK5 for holding. There isn't much of a huge difference beyond that reticle wise. Glass and everything else goes to ZCO.

Just picked up a MKV. I shot it side by side with my Razor Gen 3 last week in fairly heavy mirage. The MKV handled the mirage noticeably better than the razor even after tinkering and adjusting the RG3 a few times. I have never looked through a ZCO, but so far pleased with the MKV for the price. I will add the MKV turrets and parallax are easy to use. It’s also very clear and bright. I will say that the MKV reticle is definitely thinner than the Razor, but I can see that being a positive for some people. It didn’t bother me, just an adjustment to get used to.
