Why not focus on the stuff that happened in the last 10 years instead of 60 years ago?
So, I work in higher ed and we had our semi-annual full faculty meeting today. The meeting is done over Zoom, so you can really get a good view of everyone who is involved. Ultimately, the meeting devolved into a panic about executive orders and how they might impact DEI research, training, and teaching. Trump has hammered these liberal nuts harder than most can believe. They all looked like their dog had been run over and they were being forced to eat the remains. The university attorney was in the meeting and all but called these folks a bunch of idiots. They are convinced that Trump and Elon are going to march right onto campus and start firing them one after the next. Fortunately, I work in a program that is not woke and doesn’t rely on the leftist mob for anything. I have been thoroughly enjoying the hourly meltdowns that I have seen in the last three weeks.

Not what I really want fromt the USA though; we are a Republic. However, these judges are subverting that by effectively bypassing Congress who is too full of weaklings to do anything about their loss of power (because they don't care so long as the laundry mat is still open even a few hours a week).
