Been a while since I have found something to put into my collection, but yesterday I picked this Swedish M41 with an AGA44 scope. The AGA 44 was one of 2 scopes used on M41 snipers during WW2 as a replacement for what was originally to be on the rifle, the Ajack 4x42.
From what I have read so far only about 500 of the rifles where equipped with the AGA44 scope making it one rare bird.

Wow, that's my old gun! Sold it thru my gunsmith years ago on gunbroker. I put that gun together over 12 years ago! Excellent shooter. It was one of my two m-41s (aga 42 and aga 44) at the time. Lots of stories with it. Miss it! See this was an older post but I am a newer member and just discovered. Do you still have the pelican gun case? Swede m-41, super accurate.

Yes sir, still have the Pelican case. Took it to the range a couple of years ago and it shot pretty good, nit as good as the 41B but pretty good.

Yes, my AGA 42 at the time shot a little better, but both 100 + year old guys shot pretty incredible! I had quite a collection of snipers a few years ago, but sadly sold them all for a car restoration ( 73 Plymouth Roadrunner). Both my kids are military. My daughter graduated form the USMMA Academy. She wanted this kind of car because Dad had a 68 growing up so I was all in and so proud of her. Didn't realize the expense to restore , ugh! Oh well, had it done by her senior year which was amazing really! She took her commission in the Air Force, 2nd LT. When she drives on base even the Generals ask about it, Ha! Picture of my old snipers included . Fast forward last two years. Couldn't take it. Started collecting again. I have already added a m-41 AGA 44 and Type -99 cutback nagoya! I got the idea for pelican gun cases from some special forces guys I met down in Roswell when my daughter spent a year at a prep military school before USMMA. If your going to have a expensive gun, protect it in a good case! I was fortunate years back to make a connection in Sweden with two gentleman that owned m-41s, 41bs and really new their crap about them. Their parts and advice was beyond helpful, super guys. Anyway, well try to attach a couple of photos! That'

s my story!

I have thinned my collection considerably, mostly of non-snipers, as my focus shifted, and I gear up for a possible move now that I have finally retired.
here all 3 Swedes in my collection.

Yes , those are just beautiful! I will be looking for an AGA 42 to add and replace my old one. Interesting, my old m-41(aga42) had 22 kill marks on it.
