So they just released a whole rifle for 3 years, create a “new action” and the barrels that everyone had and tooled up for aren’t comparable…. Gun industry at its finest.

Not sure how they lightened the bolt lift going from a 90° to a 60° since that will give less of a mechanical advantage and you're trying to cock that firing pin the same amount with less ramp to do it. That said, I've never had a problem with any of my 90° bolts, Havak Hit included.
@JMo22 I’m not sure the engineering behind it either, but after handling them at SHOT (everyday cause they were that nice) they are super smooth and light. Actually feels like a soft 90 degree
I was told by Seekins that old hit barrels work in the new hit rifle but not the other way around. New barrels won’t work on the old action.
