I haven't seen much in the way of reviews yet, so I'm hoping someone here has tried it and can offer some feedback. The "updraft" port is an interesting take on expelling gases up while still going out. I'm curious to see how it compares to the Hellfire Match or Ace Brake.

I got to try one the other day on a 308 PRS rifle. I thought it done a very good job, especially considering the price. I shot it off a PRS barricade at an 800 yd plate rack and saw every impact and miss.

I have one I replaced my CHAD with. Tested it on one of their guys’ 25+ lb dasher and then on my 17lb 6.5cm. Muzzle rise? Non existent. Recoil? See previous. At 180 bucks, definitely worth it and I was extremely impressed.

I got one immediately when they came out and have compared it to my Chad and ACE brakes. After about 200 rounds out of 2 different rifles, its excellent! Its flat, has really good recoil reduction and its not overly loud at the shooter. I am very happy with it! Between the Updraft and ACE, I don't think there is really much difference apart from the ACE being slightly quieter at the shooter. I also like that the Updraft has flats so you can actually level it.

How do they compare to the Chad?

I got about 200ish rounds on one, on a 18ish lb 65x47 and it’s legit, very flat, but it’s not terribly different feeling from the ACE. Maaaaaaaybe slightly flatter on average… maybe.

Trying to decide between the 1" or 1.2" version. I'll be putting it on a 6.5Creed with a 26" Proof Competition contour barrel. Any idea what diameter that contour is at 26"? All I can find is the blank muzzle diameter at 28". I'd like the collar/brake to be close to the same diameter as the end of the barrel where it contacts. Thanks.
