People do stupid stuff with guns every day....this is just one more
Yeah but I have been at a yearly LEO qual and witnessed the female cops shooting. You are safer, if it is you they are trying to shoot.🙄

Cops are paid, trained “professionals” not just “people”. They are paid and trained to use a gun in the course of their duties and to handle that gun properly and safely. Otherwise, what the fuck are we paying and training them for?

The problem isn’t that females can’t shoot. We know better. The problem is that DEI allows a certain type of female into law-enforcement and then tells them the whole time that they shit butterflies 🦋 and fart rainbows 🌈 . Standards are lowered for them and they are told constantly how special they are. The male cops and their superiors SIMP and white-knight to further shelter them.

As I mentioned before, the Colorado female police officer who put the person in the cruiser that was subsequently hit by a train, failed two psych evaluations and was hired by two agencies anyways. The pressure to fill these quotas is a nightmare in the making.

I posted this over at, "The High Road", and they got their dicks twisted out of joint over it.

What are they a bunch of DEI simps?

So the taxpayers are on the hook for a life flight for a non life threatening injury and the medical expenses. Probably her PTSD retirement and disability.
How many boxes did she check? Female ✓, skin color? , sexual orientation? , preferred pronouns?

I know an older guy I used to shoot with, who had to be flown by Medevac Helo from Lake Havasu to Las Vegas for emergency surgery. The flight alone cost $44,000.00.

If you don't have the brains, common sense , or ability to handle and control a firearm safely then you definitely should not have a badge or position in law enforcement. Way too many stories or incidents reported that prove my point. Average person thinks cops are good with guns, they are wrong and delusional. Years ago, a client of mine, whose husband was a Columbus police officer with over 25 years on the force , fired his weapon inside the police station. He told me what happened and admitted he made a huge mistake. As he told me the story I didn't say a word. Total dumbass move on his part in handling his firearm. He was given a slap on the wrist for his "accidental discharge of firearm".
Luckily no one was hit by the bullet. Kept his job and pension of course.

I am with you that its ridiculous.
Im not sure this is because of woman or because of cop training.

We dont know if it was life threatening or not.
Take typical holster locations and say it was during re-holstering (have seen more than one of these from exactly that) and very likely it could be life threatening.

Number one reason with all of the ones I have seen is “blind reholstering”.

One that is very memorable was a high thigh ride drop rig, tac team training. Guy does blind reholster, somewhere in the training, something (stick I think) got tangled up with his holster.
45 bullet entered mid thigh, tracked and ended up near ankle.
Lucky for him it was ball ammo.

There are A LOT of dry runs around here in regards to re-holstering. No matter the position, and esp because I carry AIWB. 😬

After watching the Trump shooting and the SS female attempts at reholster you would think that some training would be implemented. But

One would think.
Not sure and the levels of foolishness needed to enact effective change were thick until 4 weeks ago

Its not all of them

Lakewood CO officer Ashley Ferris left her patrol car looking for an active shooter with several already dead. G17, no AR (terrible idea IMO)
Engaged him at just over a car length with her g17 and killed him, despite taking 1 round to her vest that hit low, deflected, and caused major injury. Emergent surgery and emergent blood transfusion kind of surgery (she has spoke on this openly so I can share)
She stayed in the fight making sure he was down until help arrived and she was evacuated and taken to the hospital approx 2.8 miles away in a patrol car.
This due to active shooting and time it would take to fully clear scene to make safe for an EMS crew and ambulance.

I met her severap months out at a trauma conference where she spoke.
She has bigger balls than most gun guys I have ever run into.
She returned to full duty.
Then resigned and is teaching down in TN now.

I've watched many people that have brain spasms when they are under observation/evaluation. Similar to what you saw in grade school. They know the material but put them in front at the board and they can't add two plus two. The fight, flight or freeze response is real. Two of those categories should never be in certain occupations

When I shot competitively the first prayer always was please do not put a cop in our squad then please keep us all safe.
The local CCW teacher a retired PO has had TWO not one but TWO ND's in class, one striking a student.

An ND has exactly zero to do with the weapon itself, and has exactly everything to do with the person who committed it. Put a firearm in the hands of someone who doesn't know exactly what they're doing with it and something is getting shot that isn't supposed to.

Glock, Sig, 1911, striker, hammer, DAO, SAO, DA/SA? Put your finger on the bang switch and apply pressure, it's going to fire. It's kind of what they're supposed to do. It all comes down to training and competency to not do it when you're not supposed to. This says far more about FLETC policies and programs of instruction, as well as its instructors and students, than any of the firearms in question.

Anyone for a bit more D.E.I. ?

So, mask wearing affirmative action desk pops herself.
Surprised face goes below....
