I've had my eye on them a while. I sent an email within the last two weeks asking about their scorpion magnum and 338 Norma Mag. Got an email back from Corey within 2 hours giving me an honest answer to my question. He said the 338 norma mag is reaching the limits of the suppressor although it WILL handle it. It may be louder than other big names, but will still be hearing safe. He said he would not go shorter than a 24 inch barrel for his suppressor. I think if I was in the market for a .30 or smaller suppressor I would have no problem buying a Lane. Wish they would pen a deal with silencershop.com......

There was a discussion on these on okshooters, they seem priced well but it sure makes me nervous buying a suppressor from somebody that's not a big player in the game. Too many suppressor companies have been closing up shop lately. I don't wanna buy one then a year later the company closes and voids my warranty.

I don't think any supersonic round is hearing safe regardless of the can. It's cumulative, and enough rounds will leave you asking people to repeat themselves a lot.
I keep this on the wall to remind me.

I have 3 of their cans. Two Scorpion Kings and an S30. All of them are nice suppressors. Personally, I can't tell any difference between my Scorpion and my TBAC Ultra 7. A friend had an issue with one and Cory took care of it right away. He's always been responsive with any questions as well.

Lane silencers is a huge supporter of long range events in South Dakota. He’s at almost every local event. His products are tough and well thought out. I’ve seen 3 scorpion king magnums all on ar 10’s that have been rode hard and hung up wet. My first suppressor purchase would have been one of his but I got a deal on an ultra 7 I couldn’t pass up. When funds allow I ll be getting one of his cans, he’s just a guy you feel good about supporting

Hmmmm, a search of the Hide brought up nothing but a google search of the www brought up this thread and why I am adding to it instead of starting a new one.

My youngest just took possession of a Lane Scorpion 556 for his AR and a friend of mine is waiting on a Lane for his bolt gun, both in .223

I had never heard of Lane till now.

Looks like they have been made in Rapid City, SD since 2007

I just started the process for a Huxwrx Ventum 762 to add to the stable but am curious how the Lane's are holding up for those that posted above.

May be able to save a couple hundred with the Lane?

My Ventum is flow through and stacked baffles vs the monocore on the Lane

Hopefully I will get a chance to compare these two side by side before long.

I have a all Ti scorpion that I won at a PRS match back in 2014-2015 time frame. Its the .223 can, but will clear 6mm (it was made this way). I have zero issues or complaints with it. It shoots just as well as my TBAC Ultra 7 or any of the others. Its currently on a .22 Creed that I use for thermal hunting. I wouldnt hesitate to get another one.
