For those running the Magnus RR line of cans any feedback? Thoughts on the full size RR vs. S-RR? I am looking for a new can for the AT-XC (6mm/6.5mm) as I plan to move the current Ultra7 Gen 2 over to one of my hunting sticks. I know there's some fanfare with the Area419 Maverick in this segment as well but I have no experience with their cans and I have never seen any in stock or for sale anywhere.

I shot one of my buddies Magnus K-RR and it's the best of both worlds, ordered one a few months back and trying to forget about it. It is not as quiet as my Nomad-Ti but the rifle acted like it was braked and saw every impact with minimal recoil.
    What caliber?

I don't really feel the brakes on my cans shooting 6.5 CM. I have yet to try my S or K on a .308. That might prove interesting.

I have the K and I run it on my 65 PRC for hunting. I'm betting it's not hearing 'safe' but a couple shots aren't bad. Recoil is much less than my UL7's but quite a bit more than a good brake. I got the K due to it having the least recoil of the bunch.

If muzzle blast wears on you then they'd be good in a match. If recoil gets you more than muzzle blast then use a brake.

I've always been happy with the way my Ultra 5 6.5 sounds on 5.56, good to see meter data backing that up. I think it is still a great option for an ultra light and compact 5.56 suppressor if you don't need it to handle super high volumes of fire.

It isn't a Maverick (they're quite popular in PRS, that's why you never see them in-stock)...

But the RR line is great.

The S is pretty long. The K is a good size. If you want something big, well... There is the Ultra.

If you're not competing, the S is perfect.

Maybe someday, these guys will make something that goes on the end of your can.

You ought to buy the recoil x for the nomad and do a comparison for us.
