What cars you fools have?

Second and last car I ever bought - 4 years out of college - Got the first one delivered to the dealer - 1984 model. the first and last "arrest me red" car I had, almost lost my license from speeding tickets because of the guards red color. . Best handling car I ever drove (and I have drive all of them, Ferraris included. That because the transmission was in the rear - perfect 50/50 weight balance. After all the expensive maintenance I started leasing and never stopped. "If it appreciates, buy it. If it depreciates, rent it":

Then a semi custom Mercedes 300 Sportsline 4-door that MB built one each for every dealer every year. Fastest car I ever owned. Did an observed 147MPH in perfect comfort. I'll see if I can find pics. Then doing a lot of hunting so a couple of 4-runner suvs in a row.

Then married, kids, a 2004 Navigator and another after that lease expired - fell in love with Fords again incredible vehicle for that time and probably the best ever for me overall:

More to follow if I can find the pics :).

The Shreveport Dealer had a GT4 RS in their showroom. If I could have swung that, I would have!
I really like my dads friends GT2RS at 720hp. That thing is rad.

I would love just to take one to the track. Barber or Tally would be a lot of fun. My dads friend took his GT2RS off track out in Cali (I think it was Laguna but I am not sure).

I might try to go to Barber in my Macan GTS. The dealer said they do a Porsche event once every year. We'll see if they go to Tally, Barber or Road Atlanta.

When it comes to these cars I am 100% a poor, I need to find out what cartels the rich kids are working for.

I have the most manly car on the planet

honda_cr-v_honda-cr-v_2016-1642181149767.jpg

( unironically these are great, reliable cars)

Stuck between wanting to replace it with a 2019 and back 4Runner, a Honda Ridgeline, or finding a decent regular cab truck of some variety to turn into an SUV by putting a LEER cap on with a headliner and adding Bed Rug. Velcro sticks to Bed Rug perfect. Could make a versatile camper/suv/etc out of a reg cab long bed. My problem is all the big 3 trucks blow for some reason or another and finding something older with no rust in my AO is expensive.

That sounds like fun. Maybe one day I'll make it to the track with my dad and his Carrera S.

After the Navigators (2) - See up thread, I leased this MB GL 450 in 2008 - a very dark green metallic. This was by far the worst POS vehicle I ever leased. Had all kinds of electrical problems so the battery would run down and I had to call service for a jump like 5-times! And a host of other issues. Handling was atrocious. In turns it would just keep leaning over so bad!

Had ! My softmore year in HS, wish I still had it, oh the memories.
Funny story, these little chicken shit houses were called the California classics in a little town called San Ramon about 30 miles from San Francisco. Come to find out all the FBI agents out of San Franciso bought a lot of these houses.
And one of those detectives was a lead on catching Ted Kasinski.
Funny I was tearing those streets up back in the day in that car when it was a little chicken shit unencorporated 2 Sherriff town. Officer Dale was one of those sheriff’s, hope life is treating you well sir, to the good times.
That is my late friend in the back ground, and that corner house behind him was broken into by the East Bay rapist and they almost caught him but he escaped and did not get to reap havoc on my neighbor Diane, smoken Hot !
As we know they finally caught that prick over 30 yrs later !

I want an Esprit so bad
I do like the Esprit s1, although they are now silly money, a later version would be a better car, although I like the simplicity of the Esprit s1. Just as I also prefer the clean line of a Lamborghini Countach LP400 over those of the later cars with the big arches, wing and scoops, but each to their own choices.

Yeah, the LP5000 QV is the quintessential Countach that everyone pictures in their head, me included, but the original shape Gandini created was fantastic and it's hard to see with all those scoops tacked all over it.

My 2013 (or so) BMW X5 35d. I detail my own cars to get the orange peel off - they all have it these days...

Only problem with the 35d is that the diesel engine was so heavy the car ate front tires for lunch!

Don't even want to know what the HP out of the eotec is on this thing. I'm sure it could easily fly with short wings attached  .

Yes, 287 rwhp right now. I had to add front aero to the car over the winter for more summer testing. At about 110 the front suspension starts to lift and car gets a little..."floaty". Curb weight is 1,610 lbs.
