Looks like something failed structurally on that right side, breaking the wing spar, then the left, still attached wing flipped itSo did they smash the right rear landing gear?

Gear are mounted to the wing, that right wing broke right off.It looks like the right gear collapsed on touch down. They should be able to tell what the vertical rate of decent was and how many g’s was put on the airframe during touchdown, including side loads. It looks like they hit rather firmly and flat pitch wise, maybe the right side touched down first; it’s hard to tell what their lateral drift was.
How dare you sir.....those are flight attendants. Not also that the headline says it did catch fire.
Note on the video there are at least two firetrucks spraying the wreckage down as passengers are evacuating.
I bet all the stewardesses feel very important now and have improved self esteem.
This guy claims the decent rate was 1100’/min.
Thanks for the heads up man, I’ll be sure and avoid them.
Fly jumpseat so you can start bitch slappin if needed. You better avoid SkyWest too from what I hear from former employees. I have to ride on passenger airlines 2-4 times a month getting to and from my scheduled flights and my personal rules are:
1) Try to only fly on mainline flights.
2) If I have to fly on a regional airline, try to at least be on a EMB-170 and stay off the CRJ’s and 145’s. The 170’s have more modern automation that helps minimally trained and experienced pilots safely complete a flight.
Some of the passengers didn't seem to pay attention to the "leave your belongings"; they should've been clotheslined. It is kind of sad that many people grab their carry-ons, saw 2 w/rather large carryons, while other people have been burning behind themNot also that the headline says it did catch fire.

Was just getting ready to say this. Unreal..people with their fucking backpacks. Those people should have been beaten to a pulp once outside the carcass of the aluminum tube. Had fuel been left and leaked...kaboom would be a reality and an upside down evac makes it even more complicated. Damn lucky people!!!!Some of the passengers didn't seem to pay attention to the "leave your belongings"; they should've been clotheslined. It is kind of sad that many people grab their carry-ons, so much for a rather large, what other people have been burning behind them
Brother, that's exactly what it looked like to me too. 500' fpm right into the deck. She just planted that mofo. Wow....Maybe she was practicing carrier landings.
Seriously....I saw it reported that some member of the Communist Party of USA (aka, what some people refer to as democrats) said it was Trump's fault. It's Trump's fault!
Have you seen the jumpseats in those things? Not exactly comfortable in any way. Slide out barely cushioned 90 degree seat and your knees straddle the console. But I hear ya, it’s tempting. I try to stay off of them in general and especially if the weather is marginal.Fly jumpseat so you can start bitch slappin if needed.
It's funny that the lyrics for their DEI Promotion Video include the repetition of the phrase "live fast, die young". Who would put those lyrics in an airline video that's supposed to prioritize safety over anything else?Yeah, it’s all fun and games until the weather is marginal and the wind starts blowing; then it’s all in your hands there chickies!
It does blow in that part of the world, the highest wind I’ve ever landed in was in Hamilton, ON not far from there, it was 48 gusting to 58 and 15 degrees off straight down the short runway. My ground speed was around 85-90 knots.
That video is disturbing.
“Work Safe”. You can have the slogan, but it’s all in your fingertips to prove it…….
@UKDslayer , you will never see the pilots interviewed until after the final NTSB report comes out, if even then. Air Disasters sometimes interviews the pilots, but I’m guessing they got paid to do it.

We saw Sully....we saw the female SW (former AF) pilot that lost a passenger.
The people who pull out their phones?!! I’m glad to have the video, but I’ll tell you what I would not think of: pulling out my phone and videoing. I’d be looking around for death figuring I was on his doorstep. Also, I’d be wondering who I could help get out of the plane, with me.Was just getting ready to say this. Unreal..people with their fucking backpacks. Those people should have been beaten to a pulp once outside the carcass of the aluminum tube. Had fuel been left and leaked...kaboom would be a reality and an upside down evac makes it even more complicated. Damn lucky people!!!!
Delta CEO refuses to name pilots and states their gender is irrelevant.
who knows?
My thoughts exactly. Wtf these people have absolutely no self awareness…..It's funny that the lyrics for their DEI Promotion Video include the repetition of the phrase "live fast, die young". Who would put those lyrics in an airline video that's supposed to prioritize safety over anything else?
Up north where it flipped over in Iced up liberal tears. It gotta come down sometimes with a bunch whores with no real mens on it.What state is Canada in . Tryna look it up on day map .
Only DEI finest could flip a fucking plane when they forget to drop the landing gear.
