This little video really brought back some memories of a very long time ago.

When we first got married, in 1973, we were gifted a Siamese. she was a mess, but in the end after she gifted us with an entire litter and then contracted distemper and all but one died, we had this one little Tiger Siamese. She adopted me. As I was working my way through college, she would sit on my shoulder every evening as I studied. She would actually play football with me. Everywhere I went, she would go. Better than a durned dog. She was my friend.

But, she had distemper as a very young kitten. It affected her. She had zero balance. She would be walking along (on the top edge of the couch no less) and just fall over. Just flop, not even able to catch herself. Absolutely a clutz at walking. She never climbed much even on the few times she would go outside.

She was one of a kind. Died at 7 years of age. I am not ashamed to say, I cried when I buried her.

i have a Siamese that is the same way. constantly hanging around with me.

Yeah, not my cat. That mfkr thumps onto the ground, lifts his head like "wtf was that??" Then goes back to sleep. One of these days I'll get it on video 🤣
Our cats don’t ever find themselves in a position like that. They always make sure to bury themselves inside a blanket or wedge themselves into a corner of our couch to be as warm as possible
