I haven't heard of making a non adjustable gas block adjustable - seems like it would be easier to replace with something like this though I dont know of any with a built in pic rail - https://www.brownells.com/gun-parts...em-parts/ar-15-clamp-on-adjustable-gas-block/ Alternatively maybe you could replace your bold carrier with one designated to adjust / vent more gas (I think Gemtech made one once upon a time)

    Good luck,

DIY version of the BRT Custom-Tune (no longer in production and different than their E-Z Tune gas tubes). It's not really "adjustable", and as the name implies, is "tunable". You basically drill and tap the gas passage of the gas block, which connects the gas port to the gas tube, then install a 10-32 set screw, with a smaller hole than the gas port drilled through it. Get 5-6 short set screws and drill various sized holes using numbered drill bits, and use a 10-32 bottom or plug tap (you can't start a bottom tap without using a plug or taper tap first). Swap out the set screws until you get proper function. You might have to grind down the set screw on both ends to fit the length of the gas passage.

Is the gas tube diameter the same as that of an ar-15/ar-10? If so, what’s the gas block journal diameter? Adjustable gas blocks aren’t black magic. It’s just a valve that restricts gas to the system. It is entirely possible that there is an off the shelf solution.

I'd think a basic set screw type could be made simply or that one modded to give you as much adjustability as needed. Set and forget. Bleed off or click adjustable would be more of a project than I'd want to start, but maybe doable too?
