I have a Mcmillan HTG that I need opened up for M5 bottom metal. Prices seem to vary widely. LRI 200.00. Unknownmunitons 125.00. Gap 105.00. Badger 75.00. Riversbend gun company 75.00. Trust badger but they specifically say their inlet is only for badger m5. I thought they were pretty much the same. Not sure I'm going to use Badger so that kind of concerns me. Was thinking Hawkins, maybe. Anybody got any recommendations or experience with the above or others. Want the work done well but don't want to waste money either.

I thought about that Aftermath. I have been looking for someone to sell used or wait for a sale somewhere. APA had theirs on sale after Christmas but the SA was sold out. Was going to try the get the rifle ready before spring. Just curious why LRI is 200.00 and everyone else is right around 100.00. Even the "Big names" like Gap? I have seen on Long range hunting to call and ask for "Chad" for the best price no sure about that. Criver my stock is identical to yours. I assume you were happy with LRI? Never thought about KMW I have a sentinel with the same bottom metal and love it. Thanks for the input.
Gunsmith buddy of mine said LRI was faster turnaround and did better work than McMillan. He was spot on.
