Apparently, the communication between several depts isn't great yet. At least someone forgot to tell Elon.

Not to mention there's a litany of policy (and laws) that could be broken if people respond to that email. There's interagency third party rules (believe it or not, certain parts of .gov are not allowed to communicate certain things to other parts of .gov), etc, etc.

But, it is entertaining watching both sides lose their shit over the other side's reaction to the email and the initial tweet.

Listing weekly accomplishments reminded me of back around 1978 when our new principal required all teachers to hand in their lesson plans every morning instead of weekly. I don't think he even read them. A friend of mine who taught music turned in:

Monday - Chase the dog.
Tuesday - Chase the dog.
Wednesday - Chase the dog.
Thursday- Catch the dog.
Friday - Fuck the dog.
