I've used 500 mile per hour tape for aircraft applications. It's common. In this picture, we may be looking at common duct tape, I can't tell at a glance.

Never used it on an airplane, but we used gaffer's tape on draw rollers. Adhesion was about 175 lbs/square inch in a straight pull, but still removable.
Depends on if you’re still a semen sommelier, you definitely don’t spit during tastings though

Despite his rather, uhm, unusual AR setup, I’d rather have him as a neighbor than that confused behemoth above.
