Does it work with the folder stud on the right side? I would prefer to keep the folder going to the right side. I currently use the folder stud as a thumb rest but it's not ideal by any means.

Agreed, curious if it will work with a folder as well! Right now I run my thumb on the folder stud

Any progress on the folder version?
    Skatz11,

Indeed! We really wanted to test this product thoroughly before launch and are really happy to announce that it is available for purchase on our website.

I bought one, like it, but wondering if it could be modified a little? My thumb cants a little. Could I get one a little taller? Sticks out more when mounted? Sent a message on your website but haven't heard back. Thanks and hope to see you guys at a MOST match this year.

Just received the thumb rest for my AT-X.
    I highly recommend it.
I went with the non folding version because I have my stock folding to the left side. I also liked the flatter position on the non folder version.
    Here's a few pics.

Can you choose left or right side with any folding hinge?

I wish I didn’t need to fold mine in order to store it in the safe. I would love a lower, flatter, further forward option. The folding version is too far back and too steep.

Well the squeaky wheel gets the grease rings true once more. I reached out to Sokek about my grievances with the current AI folding stock thumb rest design and I gave them some ideas on what I was looking for and they came up with a new one. I took the rifle out this past weekend and ran 100 rounds through it prone, off the tripod and on a table seated. I couldn't be happier about the changes.

The new design puts your thumb pointing forward instead of up near 1 o'clock like the last design. This allows for the palm of your trigger finger hand to rest against the side of the grip instead of just the butt of your thumb like with the previous design. My trigger finger now rests against the trigger shoe without strain and the wrist of my trigger finger hand is no longer under tension. They nailed it with this new design and like with most of their products it's an affordable option that's readily available.

With Sokek's permission here are a few pics of the new design for folding stock AT-X(C) rifles.
