Man, I miss those days!
We rebuilt my college roommate’s ‘70 Cuda convertible in a driveway with just a basic tool set. Fanciest, and most complicated tool was the timing light!

Just starting the teardown on my Raptor’s Ecoboost motor:
English-ed DVDs used to be available via Netflix-in-the-mail service, when that was a thing.
As well as almost everything except the block and head castings, LoL… Crank seems to be OK, but may swap that out for a Gen 3 version; a lot stronger, but want to confirm it’s a direct swap before ordering a new one.
Heads are going to a company called Headgames in NJ for a pocket port and valve job, new Raptor-specific valves, and much stronger springs so I can get more top end out of the motor.
Here’s a great video done by them and Geoff Raicer from Full Race on these heads; mine will be identical:
Also have pretty much the entirety of the Full Race catalog waiting to go on after the motor’s rebuilt. She gon’ be fast!
