That’s because there is nothing intelligent about so-called AI. It is database software coupled to huge storage with an interface that can fool some humans some of the time into thinking they are getting an intelligent answer.

Real AI will be, IMHO, a hardware breakthrough, not database software. And when/if it happens it will be something to be worried about.

AI today is about inflated Stock Values and a buzzword bubble like we saw in the 1990’s with e-everything. Until people had e-nough and the bubble burst in early 2001…

Apple is such a sad case. Appealing hardware. Good understanding of User Interface (or used to, I hate the newer MacOS styling). And their software stack and how your devices can cross communicate really is nice aside from being locked down.

But they're such a backhanded, scummy and misleading company with far too many political activists in their ranks.

Well, they are run by a DEI fag…

They are still resting on the laurels of Jobs visions.

But nothing novel out of them since the IPhone….

Including the Apple Watch…. Which is just a fashion statement.

Apple is going to implode in the next few years if they don’t do something game changing. And their leadership team is all DEI garbage. So IMHO they are finished before the end of the decade.
