lol. Honestly, it is thin in color for extra anejo. They skip additives like sweeteners and caramel color. It’s only 3 yrs old. Not really “extra” IMO. I’ve got some 8-9 yo ones that are way sweeter and more complex. This ones pretty good.That’s a thin looking 1924?

The tasting notes are unbelievably spot on…the tea reference was is definitely there and very pleasant

Yeah, it’s my favorite then the OESV. Really like that one to. A lot of people like the OESO but it has a weird cherry on that yeast strain for me…. Both the OBSO and OESO have a weird cherry to me…

elijah craig 12 year old bourbon, very corny, very nice. got to water it down though, its barrel proof.

I’ve passed over Sagamore locally because it was “just another newer bourbon” on the shelf at the ABC. There’s so many I don’t half pay any attention to a lot.

He drags out a couple of bottles.
He had cracked this one, it was awsome.
it was so smooth I compleatly missed my guess at the proof. Finishes very spicy, not hot though.

Love the THH! Can’t believe they don’t make more…. A minimum of 6yr and it’s killer. Never had the VW Rye. Let us know how it compares to the THH if he cracks it.
We'll see when that is.

The 6 year old class is normally my favorite for some reason. It's old enough to make it to the top shelf and stay within a budget.
My buddy is a lls manager and has aged some white dog into unbelievable drink.
He knows his buisiness very well.
I have patroned that store for 40 years.
We looked into getting a license for distilling, I'd have to start an ngo and steal the money.
