This is the message from last night that people need to see....
Democrats won't stand for the families of victims killed by illegals but will kneel for thugs and criminals.
They kneeled, cried, and eulogized a violent criminal who died during an arrest, but refused to stand for the families of Laken Riley and Joselyn Nungaray...let that sink in. They are NOT on the side of the American people amd last night they showed that.

personally, im all for it. the more dems implement their policies , the more they fail. but on the same token, i dont want people fleeing cities. we need cities to take a lot of people who want to live there, not forcing them into the rural countryside where we love to live and raise our kids.

Trump and Musk have nothing to gain from being in politics. They can just sit it out and still be fine. What they are doing is amazing. The Dems are just made because they got caught with their hands in the cookie jar.
The Dems were very smart to have Slotkin (one of the more normal and rational Deamonrats) and not one of the crazed mutants deliver the rebuttal. She did pretty good with the busted hand they have. She avoided all the 80/20 issues that have been killing their numbers. Of course, almost everything she said isn't possible with Democrat policies, and she blames Trump in the first month of his Presidency when our current situation is entirely the fault of The Biden Admin and Democrat policies. The rebuttal was like a throwback to the 1980s before they went insane, but that is NOT the Democrat Party of today.
Her attack on Elon and DOGE fell totally flat, as a vast majority of Americans are horrified by the outright theft and leftist graft they are uncovering. Fighting to stop reform of the Federal government is a total looser for them politically, but that is their power center and all they have left, so they kind of have no choice.
Slotkin may be believable and seem reasonable in terms of national security, but her entire party isn't. I think it's also dumb for them to still be pretending that Trump is in league with Putin, and their anti-Russian freakout is getting pretty tired.
All in all her rebuttal actually tried to speak to the 80% of America that is not the Democrat base. That is really the only path out of the wilderness for them. While those congressional Dems are horrified at how much Trump has accomplished in a month, I think fully half of Kamala voters, who don't like Trump, are actually clapping along with us, and are starting to look like the Republicans who held their noses to vote for Trump. "I don't like him, but I liked his policies." Since this is a one and done Presidency that certainly works for me, and if they can sustain that President JD is easy to imagine.
Trump's approval rating is supposedly around 50%, but 73% approved of the SOTU? Half again who disapprove of him liked that? How does that work?

Out of curiosity - who (or what) do you think is reviewing the weekly progress reports of Fed workers (those few who's cabinet level Secretaries have told the employees to respond)? Think a man with an AI company and an inside track may try to get a foot in the door with a grand plan to get rid of Fed workers (which I like b/c I like small gov) and replace them an efficient payment system (his) and AI over people in pursuit of more cheese / power? Nah....couldn't be like that...... especially not from a guy who wants to put chips in people's heads.
My hope is that people become pissed off enough that a foreigner is doing all of this, that it leads to the question - who is a dual citizen in Congress and why the fuck are they not forced to disclose this / why are they serving?

There probably would have been, but it seemed they were being coached by someone on their phones. If you go back and watch, a lot of them were paying more attention to their phones than the prez. I think once it became apparent they weren't going to rile up the prez, someone instructed them to straighten up because the optics sucked for them. JMO.
