Will the 20 MOA 1.375” Uni-Mount with a 2.5-20x50 NX8 clear the rail of an AR?

I’m actually running a JP handguard without a rail on top on this rifle so I assume it would but you never know.

If I move it to a rifle with a full rail will it still fit.

Would the 1.125” fit this rifle? I assume the 1.125” will not clear a traditional handguard and rail?

Pay no attention to the cheap Brownells Mount. It was free. Just acting as a stand in

The 1.125 won't clear anything over ± x44 on a monolithic, even with 0moa cant.

The A191 1.375 20MOA will clear the top rail of an AR handguard, so you'll definitely be good to go with the JP handguard. If you'd like, I can snap some pics when I get home tomorrow afternoon.

I picked up the 2.5-20 NX8 last week and have it mounted to the Spurh hunter unimount. I liked it so much I then ordered the 4-32x50.
The only issue for mounting that I can see is using the bigger oversize tactical rings. You only have about a 1 3/8" for mounting on the bell side.

Good info. Thank you. I’m using the NF 4 screw rings partly for that reason.
