Patch lost in suppressor

I lost a patch in my suppressor; a small 22 caliber square patch. Should I try and get it out or will it burn up harmlessly?
My cleaning rod wasn't long enough with the bore guide in place so I had to reverse it and the patch came off.
I contacted Otter Creek but have not heard back yet, and I want to shoot this weekend!

I'm guessing that it isn't a .22 CAN that can be taken apart?? My first try would be to use a bronze brush to try and
snag the offending. Insert and twist. Maybe a blast of high-pressure air from your garage compressor?
piece of cotton. I WOUNLD NOT try and shoot it out! while hoping for the best. I don't know what kind of clearance the bullet and baffles have but just a small amount of deflection might ruin your day!! For your sake, please don't be lazy.

I got it out. I blew through soda straw and got it to move out of the baffles.
A couple tries and I got it with a bronze brush. Thanks Shawn.

It's a direct thread attachment and I contacted Otter Creek when I got the thing and they said it was fine to clean the barrel with it attached. I'm here to tell you that's not a good idea!

Well, it wouldn’t likely have been an issue if your cleaning rod was long enough to poke out the end without reversing. 😉

Low IQ take.
Wipe/wet cans were meant to be used in subsonic non expanding low pressure rounds - ie 22, 380 and eventually 9mm. Shooting a stuck patch and risking a baffle strike in a fucking polonium 556 is retarded.

ROFL, you think a little 22 is going to damage it? The pressure is going to blow it out or blow into baffle, either way its a non issue.

You probably still have the tag on your mattress since its "federal law" LOL

I can understand the caution, but there is a zero % chance that it would have done anything except send that patch out the end of the barrel within a few shots. Whoever thinks a copper jacketed piece of lead being forced into a barrel, twisted under pressure and at high velocity would have its flight path altered or an effect on pressure by a thin piece of cotton should probably take their helmet off. The mattress tag comment was pretty spot on.
