I'll gladly accept a situation where my home city lets go of that statue in exchange to having Alberta and the budding Western Alliance of AL+SKW+NWT become part of the USA. The latter will be a massive strengthening of American ideals as the residents of these provinces are Americans at heart, fully. Plus, it will turn the Canadian left's strongholds in the east into a virtual open air prison, surrounded by ocean on one side, Arctic circle to the north and USA on the other half of the circumference. They would be under constant monitoring and their food and other resources would be entirely dependent on shipments in, just like the West Bank.
