Currently have a 26 inch running Berger 156s avg 3015-3025. Wanting to cut the barrel down a bit for a can. Unsure on what can but at minimum it’ll be a standard length can but more than likely an L can. Considering Abel Co, OCL, and Diligent. I hunt in SC so weight is not a big deal, either hunt from an elevated blind or from the ground using my Fatboy tripod. Being on a bolt gun max suppression is the priority. Would love to hear from fellow hide members on suppressed 6.5 pecs hunting whitetail or possibly hogs. Thanks

Nice I have a standard Nomad L on an 18.5 inch 6 creed, killed 2 or 3 deer this year with it using factory hornady 103 eldx. It sounds pretty good.
I also killed a ton of game this year with short 6cm and 22cm, Dilligent wolf hunter. Those lil cartridges are very effective, quiet too. Minimal recoil for watching impacts, I really like the 6cm from an 18-20" tube.

I've got a 22" 6.5prc on a badger, 140eldm handloads with h1000 are running 2930. Factory 147eldm are 2850, but they are fairly tame compared to handloads.
Nice it’s crazy how much a difference reloads make but I was thinking 22 might be a sweet spot for running the medium to heavy grain 6.5 prc projectiles. What can do you have on yours?

None, my state sucks, lol. Area 419 brake.

Initial load work, it's a pretty good shooter, 58.5gr was what I settled on.
