no. imprison,or better,execute the robbers,rapists,murderers,pedos. deport the ones that we have no crimes on. ie besides being here illegally. make them walk to the southern border and force them across into Mexico. shoot resisters to that. let the Mexican gov deal with them. no luxury flights back. could send the non violent criminals to El Salvador. won't be many of those.

I don’t know how the “American Dream” became what it is now, but I don’t believe it was ever about material possessions or a comfortable life.
It was the opportunity to start with $0 to your name, but have the freedom to work yourself to the bone and retain all the fruits of your labor without interference from the State. It just so happens that a society that is oriented and structured so, ends up with an insane amount of material prosperity.
If we incorrectly believe the American dream is just “Nice house, nice family, nice life”, we believe we’re owed something. Even worse, the State can simply furnish these niceties and provide the “American Dream.”
