I have a Taurus pt92 and wondering if anyone here have every put a slide and frame in a toaster oven for drying, kinda concerned on the possibility of the heat warping the frame.
lol, never heard of that one. A toaster is way too hot and you will melt a polymer frame. I have done bake on Cerakote on polymer frames but I don’t go higher than 160 degrees.
If it has a convection feature and you can set the temp low enough, it should work fine. Thats an aluminum frame and steel slide, so you shouldn't hurt it at 300deg. Or lower it to 200 and cure for two hrs, instead of one.
