Muzzle brake question

Hey guys. I’m building a 7prc. First time building a custom bolt action rifle and first time posting here on snipers hide. Hoping someone can help with a question. I am looking at area 419 muzzle brakes to put on my proof barrel. Area 419 doesn’t make a specific 7mm prc brake, but they are telling me that the 30 cal will fit it and not make any issues with accuracy. Does anyone have experience with this? Or any recommendations to another company that make 7prc specific muzzle brakes?

This will be an elk hunting rifle, but I also do a lot of target shooting at the range. I’ll be shooting it 1000+ yards on the range so I want don’t want to sacrifice accuracy by getting the wrong muzzle brake.

Your title should say muzzle brake, you have muzzleloader, so confusing.
The 30 cal break is good to go! It is more about barrel thread match than super tight bore match.

I used a salmon river solutions tipro3 brake on my 7prc and that came in 7mm specifically. It is awesome.

That being said I also use a hellfire on my 6.5 CM and it is also amazing. You’ll be fine if you get the 30 for the 7 PRC.

I have an ASR brake on my 7 PRC. Later, when I have the money, I can get the Silencerco Hybrid or Omega. Thing is, I have a 24 inch barrel. So, I have to be careful going around turns.

"Be vewwy, vewwy quiet. I'm hunting wabbits."

Edited for stupid spelling error.

There is no single "best muzzle brake" for many reasons. It depends on what your criteria is, and order of importance for each. I decided that, since I will be shooting at the range, increased concussion was my primary concern. I was willing to accept less recoil reduction in exchange for a smaller increase in backblast, so I chose the Seekins ATC brake. Among the resources I used in my research:
