I have a new 43Xmos and while I love the 19 size guns….

The 43X is unbelievably awesome to carry. It uses voodoo of some kind that makes the slight difference in thickness into the sum of all things…

I have shot one a fair amount, was a borrowed one and I didn’t carry it any. I carried this one all weekend and it just disappears. You wouldn’t think the difference in actual width would be so profound in practice.

In drills last fall with the borrowed one, I was not quite as fast as a 19 but I believe I can train into it. The comfort is worth a slight speed penalty due to the weight/recoil difference.

As a side note, I plan to leave it stock….no really…. Just a 507K and PSA mags. Really, keeping this one stock 😂

New favorite pistol.

Good design that (I think) strikes the perfect balance of size, capacity, and concealability.

@sandhiller

Yall alright?

Just saw news of that big twister up your way.
I think a ways South of you?
All ok here but it was a rough night.

Empty coal train got blown off the tracks down by Ashby I think. Also supposedly hit the Cover ranch. Friend sent me a video of it. Big wedge tornado at least a mile wide

Terrible lightning
I had a small grass fire in one of my pastures but it never really got going
Lost one cow to it.

Tornado just east of me at Merritt Res but haven't heard of any damage from it.

Ping pong to baseball size hail did some damage in areas

A friend coming back from a fire school said he saw 5 tornadoes along hwy 2 on his way home.

Coulda been worse for sure

Thanks for asking!

Condolences on the cow, but I am curious

This kinda lost?

LOL.......no she rode the lightning😵..........will never fly again:cry::ROFLMAO:

I'm laughing because insurance will pay for her and I won't have to deal with her anymore
I have hated her for the 10 years she has been in my herd.

An old rip that brings in a nice heifer calf each fall but I can't keep as a replacement because they all have had her nasty disposition. And if she weans a steer calf, the damn SOB will try to eat my lunch in the wean pen.

So good riddance and now I have a way to pay for the Huxwrx Ventum I just bought.

Told the missus, I'd find the money somewhere's:p

It seems like every herd has (at least) one like that. 🤣. I’m glad some positives came out of it for you. 👍🏻

Quite a while ago (40+ years) some friends were fairly regular skydivers. Not many did this in those days. We would meet at the local single strip airport and prep the rented plane, doors off, seats out, belts taped, etc. Then the pilot, flew for free and got the hours, would take us up a few times and home we went, usually by way of the local waterin' hole.

One fine Saturday we get to the airport, I go in to rent the plane and a couple other guys head to the plane to do preps. About the same time I found out the plane was already rented that day the others walk in the door, somewhat shaken, and informed us there was a dead body laid out, wrapped up and strapped down on the floor of the jump plane. One of the local residents had passed away and the FBO was going to ferry the body back to his home for burial. Got to the watering hole a little early that day.

Sunday we are back. The guys go to prep the plane, I get the rental lined out. There is quite an increased amount of levity all around, so I ask about it. Seems the ferry got delayed somewhat, to the point they had to get a different pilot. The replacement pilot was a bit uncomfortable with his passenger but agreed to make the flight. He got a late start. It's about 9:30pm, flying about 6500ft, just him and the passenger in the back, engine droning on and on, dark except for the dim red night bulb light.

Then the body behind him moaned.

Later, we surmised it was caused by the air pressure difference due to the altitude but that pilot said he almost left the plane. He returned pretty freaked out and informed the FBO there would be no more body runs for him.

We had a nice jump day, and a few chuckles.

Thank you,
MrSmith
