I worked at a Lion gas station during high school. That’s when you actually filled peoples tanks , also cleaned the windshield, checked the air on all tires.
He had a wash bay , a car wash was $3.00. He let locals use it to wash their cars for $1.00 . His water…soap , chamois.
His employees got to fill their tanks on Fridays. I had a big block in my 57 Chevy and it guzzled gas. Great perk !! I really miss those days
