I picked this up off the prize table when I won one of the Sniper's Hide Cups.
I think it was 2009.
That year there were several really nice custom rifles and scopes to choose from as usual but this was sticking point first into one of the wooden picnic prize tables. I knew the guy that made it and I thought it was a hell of a trophy. My heart went pitter patter....
I have never regretted the choice.
If I had picked up one of the rifles, I would have sold it or given it away.
I walk past this and other shooting or training keepsakes several times a day at the shop.
It makes me smile.
Have several knives from Steve. Love em all. He competed back in the early days of precision rifle matches. Terry, did you meet him at a match?

Yes sir. Met Steve in Texas. He made a few competitions in Harlingen, Kingsville and Mingus.
