This shouldn't be any surprise.

A capitol police memo obtained by NBC News revealed on Friday that a department investigation and review of the fatal shooting of Ashli Babbitt in the Capitol building on January 6th has officially and formally cleared the officer involved of having violated any laws or procedures.

"we investigate ourselves and cleared ourselves of any wrong doing"

Pretty sure when a cop did something that was frowned upon in Minneapolis last summer the local citizenry (with some outside help) damn near destroyed the city. Remind me again what happened to a certain police officer…..

I am sure that POS will be paranoid for the rest of his life.
Nah; he knows that as long as the swamp runs Washington he's virtually "a made man".

OTOH, Babbitt's family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit. Not holding out much hope for that either, but we'll see how it goes.

My guess is he was a paid assassin for the day. My guess is he was told to shoot that day. Since the entire day was a setup, I see no reason for this guy to shoot unless he was told to shoot. What better way to over emphasize their narrative.

Remember, he came out of no where, took the shot and then disappeared. Ignoring all post shooting protocol for any police force. It was a set up to be sure.

Those types are okay with that. The justify it with "Just doing my job". There's plenty of the Paul Blart types looking to squeeze the trigger. While they had twenty years to sign a contract and get their fill, they didn't.
Just doing his job, protecting the lowest form of humanity in our society by taking a life of one of the best America has to offer.

He can be found.
He shouldn't have to been Found. It should be public knowledge.
How is that possible when a white officer shoots a person of color his name, address and family tree is released to the press.
Yep, any officer, regardless of race or sex. Must be one of these secretive, special services. Do we even know if it was a man?

Congress, the capital building are owned by the people. The politicians are our employees, the officer that killed the airwoman, his salary is paid with tax dollars. I say it is the peoples right to transparency in this matter.
