We have quite a few N-Vision Optics Nox 35 coming in Tuesday 8-31-21 and 2 are not spoken for yet:

I'm seeing the display type listed as "OLED 640×480 B&W". Is that a typo or did N-Vision start using OLEDs?
All halos and nox have OLED screens, unless there is something I’m just not recalling the last thermal they put out available to civilians without an LED screen would have been the atlas binos that had lcd, I went through a few sets of those binos and so did one of the guys on my staff because the screen would have problems in the cold. I would highly doubt they will ever use an LCD in a thermal again anyway now.. they are all about raising the bar these days in my experience. Probably more information than you want but I’ve sold hundreds of halos and nox, maybe even 500 at this point and I can’t remember one single bad screen I have been made aware of, point is screen is a mute issue on anything n-vision at this point I believe. Let me know if I can help answer anything else for you or if you need more specific info.

Appreciate the detailed write-up. I've seen references to a VGA display which is why I asked.

Sorry I may not have interpreted your original question exactly right, a lot of the time when I’m being asked about screens the conversation stops at “does such and such optic have an LCD, LCOS or LED screen or what’s the difference or which is better”, but to be more specific the halo / nox have a VGA OLED display in them currently and it combines with the rest of the parts used to create what I think is certainly the cleanest clearest thermal image available under 10k for the x series halos and nox.
