I don't disagree with your points.
My only point would be to look at all of the Americans left behind during the withdrawal that were left to fend for themselves. If Im ever forced to rely on my own for whatever reason (natural disaster, foreign actors, civil unrest) you'd better believe I will have weapons to defend myself and those dear to me.

I'm 6' 3", it's nice to be able to see over crowds, but sucks in Asia...door frames are at the top of my forehead....I have scars. LOL. Also, being able to buy pants with an inseam that doesn't have you with "high waters" is problematic.
