Companies that have shut down over the past 2 years.

In talking to some of my people across America, I have started asking about small manufacturing companies that have shut down recently. I'm not only hearing of them shutting down. I am being told that heavy equipment came in and demolished the plants and now there is just bare ground where there were battery plants, plants that made the acid for batteries, steel pipe manufacturers, galvanizing operations, etc.

Unsettling to see so many companies simply wiped off the map. Here are a few more:

#68 actually has to do with a local issue here, as Peter Nygard has been arrested and charged with multiple sexual assaults. From what I remember, there were planes, islands, exotic locations, and many many models involved.

So, whatever status the company is in.... has VERY little to do with covid.

I try not to go out "shopping", I haven't even heard of most of those, rarely been to most I have heard of. But yes, it is a shitty time we live in. The company I work for (auto parts manufacturing) is sporadically working operators, I'm maintenance so it doesn't have any affect on me. And here in LA (Lower Alabama) all I've noticed are a few restaurants, but not many. Urban sprawl overtook my former residence, I moved to 6 acres out in the country, 6-8 miles from 3 small towns, surrounded by woods, 100 acre peanut field accros the road.
Bigger towns are booming; Dothan, Enterprise & Andalusia, those are +/- 25-40 miles from me.
And besides "flat earther" most of the population is the other 3 that was shared. We be thriving!

I'm not sure where that list got its information....Which is my nice way of saying it's completely bullshit. Restructuring/B-K and ceasing to exist/demolished are different things.

Remington is on the list 2x. Both Gold's Gym and 24 Hour Fitness (35. Hour Fitness) are still operating.

If you check the stock links and hit max years you can see ( Chesapeake energy) just recently ( this year) first stock price was in FEBRUARY. That company has been around a LONG time. This is where it was allowed to issue stock.

( I think I got that right. If not then I got the overview pretty close).

Another company may have bought the “name” in bankruptcy.

Just because it’s the same name does not mean it’s the same company.

But it could have been clarified a bit more.
