What clear tape is the best for taping a range card to your stock?

Packing tape works fine.

Thank you for your suggestion. I was looking for something with stronger adhesive. I have not had good luck with packing tape.

Did you use alcohol and degrease the stock first? And are you putting it over the card or under it? I find it hard to get my cards off a stock using packing tape.

Dont often use cards.
When the need arises, I laminate the card, and have a rubber band either end.

Yes. Putting it over the card. To clarify, it’s on an AR stock (LMT SOPMOD), so the texturing may be causing the issue.

The clear gorilla tape is alot thicker and more durable than just regular packing tape.

It might be the actual plastic of the stock too. Some plastics don’t take adhesives well. Try that gorilla stuff and see if it helps.

If you use industrial Velcro and laminate the cards you can switch loads without having to break out a razor blade.

Good point.

I'll try the gorilla tape and report back. If its anything like their duct tape, it'll work well.
