    Rifle Scopes scope slipping forward?

    I would send them back and get rings that are in spec . In the event you are keeping the rings that are loose ,you can use a bit of black RTV and the scope won't move again . Old trick ,but works great .

    Bullet performance question - Hornady A-Max 178 gr

    Been shooting the Southwest Ammunition 178 Amax load without any problems in my Sig 716P,CMMG 18 inch ,and my Armalite AR10 . They all eat it like candy . Very accurate up close and at 300 yards . Looks like Southwest has the load worked out pretty good . The wait time was longer then I hoped...

    Is a billet Lower worth it?

    There 7075 and 6061 billet lowers ,my understanding is the 7075 is better. As far as strength goes a forged lower is said to be stronger then a billet. That said the 7075 and 6061 billets are less brittle then a forged lower I'm told . IMHO it boils down to looks ,and the billet is prettier .

    You can get a Tavor NIB for $1750.00 to $1999.00 ,$2200.00 is to much. The Tavor is a hoot to shoot . Look at the Spikes tactical le carbine ( middy) at AIM for $799.00 ,You could not build a better one at that price . You will be amazed how well it will shoot.

    Didn't catch that he was in Spain . Yes I'll bet he can get a real Cetme in Spain ,maybe even one that is FA or at least the front pin on the lower hasn't been butchered to prevent a FA trigger pack from being used . I have a circa 1969 Mars Cetme and it still works like a champ.
