    CETME as as DMR... Info wanted

    A real Cetme is a nice rifle ,the Century Cetme's are used parts weapons assembled by monkey's and are hit and miss and mostly miss. You need to inspect them carefully for ground bolts and such . Head space is critical on these and H&K G3/ 91 rifles. IMHO you would be better off buying a new PTR...

    POF has always had QC problems ,to insinuate Hogan purposely sabotaged the parts quality is at the very least unfair .They went to court ,and the courts settled it .I have both seen and shot POF rifles after Hogan quit doing work for POF .They still have QC issues on some rifles.     First off , any time you can buy a POF under 2k jump on it. That said I have shot many POF's and Hogan's ( Phoenix is loaded with them ) and for me the Sig is just the right, size weight, and balance . You can't go wrong with ether . My Sig 716p in green has been flawless right out of the box...

    Sig ships the 716 with a very heavy trigger ,making it hard to get a good group. The G 3 gun trigger transforms it . You will never know how good the Sig is with the stock trigger.

    I have a 16.5 inch fde Tavor that I did the trigger mod on and now need a red dot . I think the AimPoint Pro is what I should get. I would prefer the micro dot but my budget is shot after buying the Tavor. Anyone using a AimPoint pro on a Tavor ?

    Favorite long range 308 bullet

    I have had very good luck with the 175 grain SMK ,but the Amax is very popular. I have used both and there is little if any difference at 200 yards for me .

    I live in Phoenix and have dealt with both POF and Hogan ,they both have had problems . In the end they will make you happy ,just hang in there .
