Exactly what did you cut? You have any pictures of the mags? I’ve been looking into modifying a couple of mine, but have seen several different ways it’s done. Just curious how your turned out

    130gr RDF Data?

I’ve had excellent results with the 140’s and two different barrels, they have been my go to load now for about a year. I’m excited to see these 130 hitting the market. I think they are going to work good for gas guns and shorter barreled bolt guns. I ordered two boxes yesterday to test.

    130gr RDF Data?

I been waiting on Nosler to add new weights to the RDF line. Gonna have to pick some of these 130’s up to test.

    6.5x47 Lapua

8208 is very very temp stable, don’t know if it will produce the velocity RL17 or PP2000 will because those two powders are crazy in the velocity category but it’s a very accurate and stable powder that does produce higher velocities than other average temp stable powders do. It’s too fast for...

IMR 8208 may work good with those lighter pills and short barrel too. It’s more temp stable than 2000 mr, and faster burning than the 4451 and would probably work good in that set up.

    223 version of the RPR

no problem fella, the cost was $80 bucks and I had the bolt back in about 2 weeks which was faster than what was initially stated 3 to 4 weeks. I ran a pressure test with 8208 up to 24.2 gr and 2875 fps and the primers still looked new minus the perfectly shaped little dent in the middle. That...

    223 version of the RPR

Ruger hasn’t addressed the firing pin issue as far as I know. I had mine bushed by Gre-tan rifles and it definitely fixed the problem. Even if ruger fixes the problem I would still recommend having bushed, the fitment is amazing

That’s what I was thinking too, I’m at 2760 with the RDF’s and 37.3 g varget. Same load with the Hybrids got me right at 2800. I’m running a 24” Bartlein. 2900 fps with the RDF’s out of a 24 inch tube is insane speed unless something like RL17 is used and that’s still pushing it

What powder and charge weight are you running to get those types of velocities? Sounds like a hot ass load

    6.5 Grendel Build/Info/Picture Thread

It wasn’t a Grendel but I had this same problem with the last round being a flier, the only difference was the first round out of the mag was a flier too. Sometimes the first one wouldn’t even be on target. This was with the 70 RDF’s. Other than the first and last rounds it was a laser, I...

    20" Bartlein CLE 1-7.7 AR15 Build

Looks like you got a good one there. I’ve had great success with the 73 gr eld’s and xbr 8208 as well in a 18 inch Rainer ultra match.

    Range Report Nosler 140 RDF's

Slightly different bearing surface, coupled with the extra length and jump they set deeper in the case so less powder capacity. I was able to get equal velocity with H4350 but it was a very compressed load and caused inconsistent seating depths

    Range Report Nosler 140 RDF's

I don’t shoot a 260 but in my 6.5x47 when I switched from the 140 hybrids to the RDF’s I had to switch from H4350 to Varget. I ran out of case capacity before I could get back in my node with the RDF’s. The 260 may not run into that issue. I’ve had really good luck with the RDF’s

    Range Report Nosler 140 RDF's

Base to ogive is .772 if that helps, I have no idea what the smk’s are. The rdf work well with a jump

    6.5x47 Lapua

I think you’ll like them, I’ve won several Fclass matches with them at 600 and 1000. That 37.5 gr load is a touch warm so start low. Last match I shot in I used new brass and had a slight bit of sticky bolt.

    6.5x47 Lapua

I’m shooting them and love them, my current load is 37.5 gr varget cci 450 primers .030 jump 2766 fps SD 6.7 for 20 rounds 5 round groups in the mid .2’s ive used this load now for about 1500 rounds and it has worked very well for me in competition, both Fclass and one PRS match. My experience...

Yes RL17 was extremely temp sensitive for me, very accurate but very sensitive. PM sent

    6.5x47 Lapua

I was able to get 3000 fps with 130 vld’s with RL17 out of my 24 inch barrel. Load was extremely accurate but RL17 is extremely temp sinsitive and turned out to be pretty much useless for me. For comparison I got 2860 with the 130’s out of both varget and h4350 both.
