    Re: 243 Win twist rate for 100 grain bullet +1 on the 1/9 twist; I have a 243 AI that shoot lights out with 95 and 105 VLD's. If you plan on shooting much over 100 I would switch to 1/8. I also have a 6mm 284 that shoots the 105 VLD's awesome.

    Re: Rebarreling cost? Pete Piper w/ Precision Barrel Works does good work. He is out of Hempsted, Tx; last time I used him it was $200 for blue printing $350 for chambering, crown and barrel install plus you supply the barrel (another $300-$325).
