Relaoding 30 Nosler Data
Hey guys, trying to revive this old thread. I have a 1-10 shilen in 30 Nosler I loaded up new Nosler brass withCCI 250, 178 ELDX’s, and Retumbo seated 10 thou off lands at 3.416 - I started by doing a ladder test starting at 82grs and worked up in .5gr increments. Re: 243 Win twist rate for 100 grain bullet +1 on the 1/9 twist; I have a 243 AI that shoot lights out with 95 and 105 VLD's. If you plan on shooting much over 100 I would switch to 1/8. I also have a 6mm 284 that shoots the 105 VLD's awesome.- Hbb6601

Is this okay? Do I need to do anything? I read that 7mm wby is .53 and 264 win mag is .532; will this cause a problem? Sorry for the dumb question but wasn't sure and I wanted to use the action for a new biuld......- Hbb6601

Re: Rebarreling cost? Pete Piper w/ Precision Barrel Works does good work. He is out of Hempsted, Tx; last time I used him it was $200 for blue printing $350 for chambering, crown and barrel install plus you supply the barrel (another $300-$325).- Hbb6601
