    Gutter installation DIY?

To your point - if you have to preface your statement with "not trying to be an ass" then you probably are - which you are in that statement. However, I never asked the question "can I". I already knew that answer before posting. I just wanted input from members who have done it themselves to...

    Gutter installation DIY?

Any members ever install gutters on your home? Tossing up the idea of doing it myself vs having a company install. I've watched a few videos online, and installation doesn't seem complex. I have all necessary tools except I am considering buying a rivet gun instead of using screws. thanks...

    Can dial calipers be repaired?

I appreciate everyone's input. I'll check into sending them off for repair, but my guess is most of your are right in that the money will be better spent on a new digital set. I don't know why they tanked on me. I never dropped them, got anything on them, and I don't leave them laying around...

    Can dial calipers be repaired?

So, I searched on youtube and found videos on repairing/re-clocking dial calipers. So that answer is yes. However, as anyone here attempted this and done so successfully? If it's not worth the time, I'll just let them sit on my shelf. Won't throw them out since they belonged to my dad and were...

    Can dial calipers be repaired?

I have a Craftsman dial caliper that my dad gave me that “lost zero”. These are stainless construction and are made in Japan. The dial won’t reset to the 12 position, and every time I open and close it stops at different readings within .004 Can this be repaired? Thank you

    Which 22LR

@Whistlermd read what Cowpokey wrote several times, and then read it again. However, if you just want the B14r, Bergara is reportedly coming out with the B14r in an MTU profile barrel. I don't know when. One of the guys that owns A & J Sporting has one testing it out. All of us will tell you...

    Weatherby 307

I think both rifles are very well executed for their market. It's not a PRS/comp rifle, but both models will make excellent hunting rifles that will more than likely provide a lot of enjoyment at the range for the casual shooter. The default response around here is "just get a Tikka" get's...

Just shows how individual all of this is. I had an XRS and there was just something about I didn’t like, so I sold it. Great design, but I just didn’t like it.

    B14R setup

I love the factory stock - regarding arca rail - the Area 419 universal 12" arca rail fits the factory stock perfectly with no mods using the 2 sling swivel holes and the front action screw hole. I will take pics tonight and post them.

Hunting & Fishing Mechanical broadheads for deer?

I agree with zeroz on using fixed blade heads. Although, I have never used a mechanical broadhead. My logic is: why shoot a broadhead that can fail? A fixed blade is always open and cutting. I haven’t followed archery in awhile and when a single bevel head is referenced I’m thinking of the old...
