    175 OTM in lapua brass under varget is very difficult to make shoot poorly. I'd focus on your own precision, and if that doesn't improve with time, spin on a different barrel.

    7mm bullet to use for 1 mile??

    Its great in an 8 twist IMO, its ok in an 8.25 but I have not tried in an 8.5. That might be getting close on stability as its a long bullet for sure. I prefer the 184 bergers to the 183 sierras, and those should be more flexible on twist rate.

    I’ve watched these blowups happen multiple times and experienced it myself with 190 atips. Hornady needs to address this issue openly. It is not a small issue to blame on individual shooters and 3rd parties.

    WC872 works well for fireforming in my 338AI bore-rider chamber - 300gr RDF overruns loaded out to 4" behind 100grs+ (compressed) of it nets nicely formed cases and fun plinking. Proceed at your own risk!
