    just as one data point, my 24" Remington gets the same velocity as my buddy's 20" savage using M118lr. My next 308 will be wearing a 16" barrel

    8541 tactical had went throught this with his 16" AR 10, I think he went 178 amax. I will probably get a 16.5" aac in 308, I'm gonna try 208 amax in that, maybe the 230 bergers too

    Did some load dev with heavy .308 bullets. In my 11.25 twist 24" barrel, 208 amax and 210 berger vld stabilize, the 230 hybrid does not.

    Hi, I have a 26" heavy contour krieger 6.5 barrel that I would like cut to 22" and turned down to a Sendero profile with flutes. I've gone on GAP and Kriegers websites and do not see this as a service. Does anyone out there know who can do this? Thanks

    Remington 700 5R .308 milspec HORRIBLE ACCURACY!!!!!

    Remington Defense (M24 rebuild) makes a decent rifle - 300 yard target attached, would be a 148 6x if in a midrange F class match. Someday I'll figure out how to clean a target.
