    338LM using 300 grain Berger Hybrids at 2740 fps. 13.1 mils to a mile from a 100 yd zero at 950 ASL. Rifle has a 30 MOA rail and an ATACR scope.

    300NM, 300PRC, 338LM, 338 Snipetac, 33XC are all good caliber choices for 2400 yds. The last two are still supersonic at that distance with 300 grain bullets. Unfortunately splash visibility is going to be dependent on target and terrain conditions. Reliable spotting of hits at that distance...

    Blackpowder cleaning

    Windex with Vinegar (not ammonia) is a good agent to remove black powder residue. A few saturated patches, nylon bore brush, wet patch , dry patch then a rust inhibitor (Bircheood Casey) is all I use on my BPCT rifles.
