Thanks for the reply guys I appreciate it. For the bases I think I'll go with the EGW or Weaver tactical base. For the ringsI'm going to research into each of those brands and decide from there.. Economical brand of scope mounts..
I'm doing a budget build and ran into a little snag.. The rifle is a .308 rem 700 spsv barrel mounted on a mcrees stock with a vortex viper pst ffp 4-16x. I got good deals on all of them so I want to try to keep my pockets in check for my Elk hunt next year. The scope mounts & bases I purchased...- Deiboe
