Sold-Manners T5A Short action Rem foot print with MCS-DBM gen 1 mini chasis and area 419 arca rail attachment. Asking $850
This one is the carbon fiber model.
We shoot some team matches where there may be 6 or 7 stages on a 2 or 3 mile course with a 2 hour limit. They start the teams in 20 minute intervals. I pick up my brass but the problem is a lot of the teams do not take the time to pick up their brass, so there is a huge pile of it that you have...
Thanks! Both have advantages and disadvantages. Seen Dorgan take 4th overall with 308 at Vibberts shoot a couple weeks ago. Still kinda like the economics of the 223.
Do you know bullet restrictions on 223? I see on the RTC page they list 77 gr. Not sure if they mean that's the highest weight or the bullet you have to shoot? The 75 ELD is cheaper and higher BC.
shooting the 75 grain ELD pretty well out to 1100, but getting lot to lot inconsistency in these little pills. As much as .020 using the stoney point comparator. Maybe the answer is buy in bigger quantities!
thanks! I've only heard good things about them. Some 223's can be a little finicky about feeding, and just haven't talked to any one who runs that round in this action. Im sure it would be awesome!
Anybody out there have any experience with the Curtis axiom in 223? Looking at a build for a trainer- comp gun and trying to decide witch action to use.
Thinking of putting together a short bolt action 223 for some of the matches carbine class. Wonder if the shorter 16 inch barrel would make a difference on twist rate choices?
