    Re: My best gobbler so far... To be honest... I'm not sure. The color and size threw me off. I got him outside of Tallahassee so I'd think it was an Eastern but he was the darkest turkey I've seen in that area. Then again Mother Nature has quite an imagination and evolution never sleeps...

    Shot this monster on Sunday after 2 days of box-calling and sitting in NW Florida. Not sure of the exact weight b/c the scale technique was less than ideal but I'll say 21lbs to be "honest" and 23lbs for a campfire story.
