    Personally I think I would try and use this as an excuse to buy a revolver maybe a convertible 357/9mm? Just a thought.

    Remington 511

    I have acquired a Remington 511p minus the peep sight. The price of a used peep sight is twice what I payed for the rifle. So I was going to mount a scope on the 3/8 dovetail groves on the receiver. The problem is the top of the receiver is rounded and the rings I've tried are flat on the bottom...
