Oh no not at all. My reply was due to many saying the PRC was “just another round” but it’s doing what not any other cartridge can. It’s providing lighter recoiling magnum performance in the 6.5 class and in a short/medium action while being factory supported. Factory supported is the key.
Go over all of the things attached to it. Scope rings, scope base, torqued properly and didn’t come loose, bipod, ensure barrel is still free floated and nothing making contact with it.
You’re not gonna get sufficient powder burn with the powder the cartridges was intended for. Be better off going 6.5 Creed in a 20”. You won’t have magazine issues and tons of load data already out with 20” barrels in 6.5 Creed. Just my opinion.
