    The overall economy of the Grendel is what is drawing me to it. I'd like to go to a mile but the more I investigate the more I think that's a few years down the road. A Grendel upper is an easy buy relatively soon. So now the question is who makes the best Grendel uppers?

    Anyone ever get 'Meh' results with Black Hills 77gr OTM Mk262?

    Shooting SSA 77 gr SMK and I get similar results. The BH 77s shoot really nice for me in my LWRC SPR. Funny thing though the Hornady 75 grain Superformance shoot like utter crap. PMC 55gr does better.

    Sounds like something with your load is causing early extraction. That'd account for the recoil I imagine as well. I'm total newb when it comes to reloading so not qualified as to comment on powder choice or load.

    I'm confused by this line: Are you saying the factory American Eagle was running fine in your gun or in other guns?
