Selling spotting scope to fund kest and range fndr

Re: Selling spotting scope to fund kest and range fndr That is a good idea. I wonder if there would be a way to set up some sort of accurate grid system? say 100/50 yard grid. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: Exo</div><div class="ubbcode-body">oh...

Selling spotting scope to fund kest and range fndr

Re: Selling spotting scope to fund kest and range fndr Yes, I currently do this now. We use 10ft poles attached to our targets out to 800 yards for maximum ranging accuracy. I would like the range finder for quick target ranging for unknown target sizes(animals). It seems to hard/innacurate...

Re: The best steel target paint known to man! I have recently discovered this as well. Works excellent. A few weeks back i pulled my krylon flat white out to freshen up a target. the spray nozzle was damaged and the paint came out like a chunky stream. My vehicle was next to the target in a...

Selling spotting scope to fund kest and range fndr

So I had a thought pop into my brain the other day that my spotting scope is a useful tool in the tool box but it would make more sense for me to have a kestrel and a leica 1600 range finder. I take the spotting scope with ever shoot but I find myself not using it as much as I become a better...

Re: Lost a few pieces of brass. Need advice. I have roughly 15 pieces I will never use otherwise so there is no concern over getting rid of it.

Lost a few pieces of brass. Need advice.

I lost a few pieces of my 308 W/W brass. I have a bunch of extra laying around. What are your thoughts on adding a couple of once fired into the mix of my 5x fired brass. I will be annealing all of these so I am assuming this will help some? All of the brass has only been trimmed once.

    Hornady LnL powder drop system

Re: Hornady LnL powder drop system I found that if you do not thoroughly wipe off the one shot it will get sticky. I thoroughly clean with one shot and coat with dry graphite powder. Works fine.

Re: Annealing Excellent info guys. I am going to test some with the vice grip spring back method tonight. I think I am going to stick with my 4-5 second count. It seems to be working. I will report back. Feel free to chime in.

    Annealing

Re: Annealing OK I tried again with the 650 templaq and it turned black/melted around 4-5seconds. Here is a cleaner case with a bullet seated. Do I necessarily need to see the blue color?
